About Us

LCMB Therahealth Homecare supports people in their own homes in Bourne and the surrounding parts of Lincolnshire. We visit older people and younger adults, people living with dementia and people whose physical disabilities make daily life harder to manage alone.

Our starting point is what somebody wants their day to look like rather than a list of what they can no longer do. From there the support might be a call each morning to help with washing, dressing, medication and breakfast, several visits through the day, help with meals, shopping and housework, or a lift to an appointment. For some households the most valuable thing we provide is a longer visit that gives a family carer a few hours to themselves.

Rural Lincolnshire brings its own difficulties. Distances are long and isolation creeps up on people quietly, so we plan our rounds carefully and keep the same carers going to the same homes. That consistency is practical as well as personal. Familiar staff know what normal looks like for somebody and notice quickly when it changes.

We agree what is needed with the person and whoever they want involved, put it in plain writing and change it as circumstances change rather than waiting for a review date.
