About Sublime Care

Sublime Care provides support at home for people in Lewisham and the surrounding parts of London. The people we visit include older people, many of them living with dementia, as well as younger adults, people with a learning disability or autism, people with a physical disability and people with sight or hearing loss. Everything begins with a proper conversation in your own home about your routine, your preferences and where help would make the biggest difference. Visits can cover personal care and medication, cooking, shopping and housework, support to get out into the community, or company for somebody who sees very few people in a week. We think carefully about matching carers to the people they visit, and we keep teams small so familiar faces turn up. We should be open with you about where we stand. The Care Quality Commission most recently judged that we require improvement overall. We did not dispute the findings. We have a plan of work in place, we are progressing it and we are reporting on that progress to the inspectors and to the local authority. We would far rather tell you this plainly than have you find it out afterwards, and we are happy to go through what has changed and what is still outstanding. If you are considering care at home for yourself or a relative, please ring us and ask the difficult questions. Anybody arranging care for someone they love should be asking them, and we will answer honestly.
