About Us

We provide care at home in Melton Mowbray and the surrounding part of Leicestershire, supporting older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia, people with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with visual or hearing impairments.

What we do depends on what somebody needs. It may be a visit in the morning to help with washing, dressing and medication, a hand with meals, shopping and housework, support to move about the house safely, or several calls a day where needs are greater. Sometimes it is company and a reliable point of contact for a person who lives alone and sees very few people in the course of a week.

Working across a market town and the villages around it means reliability has to be planned rather than promised. We would rather tell you honestly which places and times we can cover than commit to visits we cannot keep. Where we do commit, we try to send the same carers consistently, because that familiarity is what allows somebody to notice when a person is unwell, in pain or low in spirits.

Our carers are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and can reach senior colleagues for advice. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission and are happy to discuss that openly.
