About Us

We are Purple Heart Health Care, a home care agency supporting adults across Leicester. We provide care and support in people's own homes and in the community.

We work with older people and people living with dementia, with adults who have learning disabilities or are autistic, with people living with mental health conditions, and with younger adults who want help to live independently. In a city as diverse as this one we pay attention to language, faith and food as a matter of course, because support that overlooks those things is not really personal support.

We begin with the life somebody wants rather than with a list of tasks. From there we work back to the help that would make it possible, whether that is personal care, support with medication, cooking, managing money and appointments, or getting to work, college or a regular group. Where change is difficult for somebody, we keep things predictable and prepare carefully for anything unusual.
