About Us
Yorkshire and Humber Healthcare Alliance provides care and support to people in their own homes in Leeds and the surrounding area. The people we work with include older people, younger adults, people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions or an eating disorder, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss.
Support belongs to the person receiving it. It is their home, their routine and their decision how help happens, and we fit around that rather than expecting the reverse. We visit first and take our time over the conversation, because what families assume is difficult and what the person finds difficult are often not the same thing.
From that conversation we agree a plan, with family or an advocate involved whenever somebody wants them there, and we revise it as circumstances change rather than at fixed review dates.
Visits cover personal care, medication, meals and drinks, housework and laundry, shopping, getting to appointments, and company. Where somebody has an eating disorder or a mental health condition we make sure the people visiting understand what is needed, we keep our approach consistent between staff, and we work alongside the relevant clinical teams rather than around them.
We keep the team around each household small and introduce new support workers properly.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk things through.
