About Us

ARU Homecare provides care at home for people across Hull. Our job is to make staying at home practical and comfortable, with support arriving at the times it is needed and everything else left as the person likes it.

We visit older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals and mobility, and we support people living with dementia in the surroundings that already make sense to them. We also work with adults who have a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability, people with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults who want support that keeps them in charge of their own lives.

Plans are agreed with the person and include what they would rather do themselves. We review them as needs change, keep families informed where that is wanted, and work hard to send the same carers to the same households, because trust is what makes this kind of support useful rather than intrusive.
