Arriving when we said, sending faces that are already familiar, and letting people know if we are delayed rather than leaving them watching the window. People arrange their entire day around a care call, and treating that casually is not a small failing. Our carers are also the people best placed to notice that something has shifted, and with the person's agreement we pass those observations on promptly to families and to GPs or district nurses.
