About Us
Screened Personnel provides care and support to people in their own homes in Uxbridge and across Hillingdon. We work with older people who want to keep living independently, with adults who have a learning disability and with autistic adults, with people who have physical disabilities and with younger adults. Support is planned around the person rather than sold as a package. For some people that means help at the start and end of the day with washing, dressing, medication and a meal. For others it means longer support with the house, the shopping and getting out to appointments or to work. For adults with a learning disability and for autistic adults it is often about making independent living workable, from budgeting and cooking to managing a tenancy and the health appointments that are easy to let slide. We visit before anything begins, agree the plan with the person and anyone they want involved, write it in plain language and review it as circumstances change. Consistency is what makes this work, so we keep teams small and familiar, brief our staff properly before they attend a new call and let people know if we are running late. The Care Quality Commission has not yet issued an overall rating for us. We are registered with them and work to their standards. Please contact us to arrange a visit.
