About Us
Home Instead Ruislip and Harrow provides care and support to people in their own homes across Ruislip, Harrow and the surrounding parts of London. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia, with people who have learning disabilities and autism, with people managing mental health conditions or eating disorders, with people affected by alcohol or drug misuse, and with people who have physical disabilities or a visual or hearing impairment.
Supporting such a range of people means there is no house style of care. An older person who wants a little help in the morning and otherwise wants to be left in peace needs something quite different from a younger adult working towards greater independence. So each arrangement begins with what the person is trying to achieve rather than with a list of tasks.
Our carers help with personal care, medication, meals, household tasks and getting out into the community. We aim for consistency of carers and revisit arrangements when circumstances change.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
