About Us
NNC Supported Living provides care and support to people in their own homes across Watford and the surrounding parts of Hertfordshire. We believe that with the right support at the right times, most people can go on living where they are happiest, which is usually at home among their own things.
We support a wide range of people. Some are older adults who need a hand with personal care, medication or meals, perhaps a short visit each morning and evening. Others are adults with a learning disability or who are autistic, and we work alongside them to build the skills and confidence that make independent living possible, from managing a household budget to travelling into town on their own. We also support younger adults, people living with a physical disability and people managing their mental health, where consistent and reliable support can make the difference between coping and struggling.
Every package of support starts with a conversation about what the person actually wants, not what we assume they need. We agree what good support looks like, write it down together and change it whenever circumstances change. We try hard to send the same small group of carers to the same people, because trust is built through familiarity rather than paperwork.
Our staff are trained, vetted and supervised, and they are encouraged to speak up if something does not look right.
