About Us
We provide care in people's own homes in Stevenage and the surrounding area. Our work is with older people who want to carry on living in the house they know, and with younger adults who need support to live independently.
What that looks like varies. For some people it is a single morning call to help with washing and dressing and to get breakfast under way. For others it is several visits through the day covering personal care, medication, meals, laundry and a bit of company. For younger adults the emphasis is often less on doing things for people and more on making it possible for them to do things themselves.
Reliability is what households tell us matters most. If a call is booked for eight in the morning, somebody should be there at eight, and it should be a carer the person knows. We plan our rounds around that and keep families informed rather than leaving them to wonder.
We start with a visit and an unhurried conversation at home. The plan is built around the routine that already exists and reviewed as things move on.
