About Us

At Anchusa Care, we provide home care support to people living in Hitchin and the surrounding areas of Hertfordshire. We come to you, helping you stay in the place that matters most: your own home, with your own routines and your own sense of independence.

We support a wide range of people, including older adults, younger adults, and individuals living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. Every person we work with has different needs and a different story, and we take the time to understand both before we put any support in place.

We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistency and thoughtfulness we bring to our work day to day. We do not take that lightly. Maintaining that standard means listening carefully, being honest with the people we support and their families, and making sure our team has the knowledge and confidence to do their jobs well.
