About Us
Constance Priority Healthcare provides care and support in people's own homes in Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding parts of Hertfordshire. We visit older people and younger adults who need help to manage daily life and keep their independence. Home care is made up of practical things done reliably. Arriving when we said we would. Helping someone wash and dress without making them feel hurried. Getting a proper meal ready rather than something quick. Keeping medication on track. Making sure a person has had a real conversation that day. We agree what is needed with the person first, and with family where they want them involved, then write it down in plain language so everyone knows what has been arranged. We revisit it whenever circumstances shift, and we do not try to sell people more than they need. If we think a different kind of support would suit better, we will say so. Continuity is something we work at. People should see the same small group of carers, because familiarity is what lets someone relax about accepting help and what allows a carer to notice that something is different. Our staff are trained before working unsupervised and supported by senior colleagues who visit, check and supervise.
