We provide care in people's own homes in Hatfield and across Hertfordshire. Our purpose is to make it possible for people to stay where they are, with the right help arriving at the right time. We visit older people needing support with washing, dressing, meals, medication and keeping the house in order. We support people living with dementia, where a familiar carer and a settled routine matter more than anything else we could offer. We also work with adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults, people with a physical disability, including safe help with moving and transfers, people whose sight or hearing is impaired and younger adults needing support to live independently. Reliability is what families tell us counts most. If a call is booked for eight in the morning, somebody should be there at eight, and it should be a carer the person recognises. We plan our rounds around that and keep families informed rather than leaving them guessing. Care starts with a home visit and a proper conversation about what is needed and what the person would rather manage alone. The plan follows from that and is reviewed as needs change.
