About Us
Sanctuary Home Care provides home care to people living in Bushey and the surrounding part of Hertfordshire, supporting older people who want to stay in their own homes with some practical help.
Our visits are built around the person. That can mean a short call in the morning to help somebody wash, dress and get the day started, prompting or giving medicines, preparing meals and making sure somebody is eating and drinking properly, or help with the household jobs that have become difficult. It can also mean support to get out of the house, to appointments or shops or simply to see people, which is often the part that makes the biggest difference to how somebody feels about their week.
Before we start, we sit down and agree what the support should look like, when it should happen, and what you would rather manage yourself. We put that in writing, we keep the team visiting you small so you are not forever meeting strangers, and we change the arrangement when your circumstances change rather than leaving the plan as it was first drawn up.
