About Us

We provide care at home in Borehamwood and the surrounding parts of Hertfordshire, supporting older adults, people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and younger adults.

Our work covers washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping and keeping a household running, together with the company that a regular caller brings. For some people ours is the only knock at the door that day, and we do not treat the conversation as the part to trim when we are running late.

We aim help at what has genuinely become hard and leave alone what somebody would rather keep doing themselves. That takes discipline on a busy morning and it is the difference between supporting a person and gradually taking their competence away.

With dementia, consistency does most of the work: the same carer, the same order of things, in a home where nothing has been rearranged.
