About Us

FHL Care provides care and support in people's own homes in Romford and across the borough of Havering. We work with older people, adults living with dementia or mental health conditions, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults living independently. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Reliability is the foundation of everything in home care. If a visit runs late, someone sits waiting, medication slips and confidence drains away. So we plan rounds sensibly, keep them local and arrange proper cover for sickness and holidays rather than leaving people to hope for the best. The support itself is agreed with the person. It might be help with washing and dressing, medication, meals and shopping, or it might be support to get out, keep appointments and stay in touch with the people who matter. For some of those we support, particularly younger adults and people with learning disabilities, our role is more about building confidence than doing things for them. Our carers are trained before working unsupervised and supported by senior colleagues who visit, supervise and review.
