About Us
Reedsfield Care Hampshire supports older people and people living with dementia in their own homes in Fareham and across the surrounding area.
We have kept our focus narrow on purpose. Supporting older people well, and supporting people living with dementia well, is enough to be getting on with, and doing fewer things properly beats spreading ourselves thin.
Nearly everyone who contacts us wants to carry on living where they are. Our job is to make that practical rather than to take over. Depending on what is needed, that might be a single morning call to help someone wash, dress and get the day going, several visits a day covering personal care, medication, meals and company, or a longer sit so a family carer can have a few hours to themselves.
With dementia, continuity is not a nice extra. It is the thing that makes a visit work at all. A carer the person recognises, arriving at roughly the time they expect, who already knows how they take their tea and what helps when they are anxious, achieves far more in half an hour than a stranger could in twice that.
We keep families informed and raise concerns early.
