About Us
AMG Nursing and Care in Chester supports people in their own homes across the city and the surrounding area. We work with older people, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability, autistic people, people managing mental health conditions, and people affected by alcohol or drug misuse.
We plan support around the person rather than a standard package. The first conversation is about what has become difficult, what someone would rather carry on doing alone, and who else they want involved. What follows is written in plain language and shared, so that everyone who visits knows what matters and why.
Our visits may cover personal care, support with medication, meals, laundry and housework, and shopping. They may equally concern routine and company, getting out of the house, keeping appointments, or support to rebuild confidence after a difficult period.
Continuity is something we protect. Letting a carer into your home is personal, and it works far better when the person arriving is someone you know. Familiar staff also notice quickly when a person's health or mood has shifted, and we raise that promptly with families, with the person's agreement, and with the professionals involved.
