About Time Out Service
We are a home care agency working in Enfield and the surrounding part of north London, supporting adults in their own homes. Our work is mainly with older people, including those living with dementia, and with people who have physical disabilities. Support ranges from a single call in the morning to several visits a day. For many people it is the first call that matters most, because it is what makes the rest of the day workable. For others, the point is not being alone for long stretches, which is a different need and we treat it as one. Where somebody is living with dementia, consistency and patience do more good than anything else. The same carer, arriving at roughly the same time, doing things in the order a person is used to, and knowing the small habits that make a morning go well. Before care begins we come and talk. We want to know how a household already works, what somebody wants help with and what they would rather carry on doing themselves. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you would like to discuss support at home in this area, please get in touch and we will arrange to visit.
