About The Grange

The Grange provides care and support in people's own homes in London, in and around the borough of Enfield. Our work is about making someone's own home a place where they can be properly supported, so that moving somewhere else is not the only option available. We support people living with dementia, where familiarity, patience and a calm approach from somebody the person recognises matter more than anything else we could do. We work with adults who have a learning disability or autism, where the point is usually to build confidence and skills at the individual's own pace, with communication pitched in the way that suits them. We support people living with mental health conditions, where a trusted relationship and staff who notice early changes make the greatest difference, and people with physical disabilities, helping with personal care, mobility and getting out into the world. Practically, our support can cover personal care, medication, meals, appointments, managing a household and taking part in ordinary life outside the front door. We keep the team around each person as small and consistent as we can, because relationships do the work here. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Anyone thinking about support at home is welcome to contact us and ask in detail how we work before deciding anything.
