About Us
Vine House Care provides support in people's own homes in St Leonards on Sea and across East Sussex. Most of the people we visit are older and want to carry on living in a house full of their own things and their own habits, and our role is to make that practical.
Our visits cover personal care, help with dressing and washing, medication, meals, shopping and the household jobs that become awkward when mobility or memory falters. We support people living with dementia, people with a physical disability, people whose sight or hearing is impaired and younger adults needing support at home.
Familiarity is something we protect. We keep a small team around each person so that the face at the door is a known one, which matters particularly in dementia care and means our carers notice quickly when something has changed.
We always start with a visit and an unhurried conversation, usually with family present if that is what the person wants. The plan we write is in plain language, agreed rather than imposed, and revisited as things move on.
