About Us

Amaiva Homecare is a home care agency in Peacehaven, supporting people in their own homes across this part of East Sussex. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia, with people who have mental health needs, with people who have physical disabilities, with people who have sight or hearing loss and with people recovering from problems with alcohol or drugs.

With needs that varied, we plan support one person at a time rather than offering a fixed package. We begin by listening to the person and anyone they want present, work out what the day and the week actually need to look like, and write the plan around that. It may be a brief daily call, support with personal care, medication, meals and mobility, help with household tasks and shopping, or support to get out to appointments and to see people.

Plans are reviewed when circumstances change, and we ask clients and families to tell us plainly when something is not working. We keep the same small team visiting each person wherever we can, and our carers are trained for the particular needs of the people they see.
