About Us

We are iDirect, a home care agency based in Wimborne and supporting adults across east Dorset and into Hampshire and Wiltshire. We provide care in people's own homes.

We support older people and people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities or autism, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who want help to live independently. That range means we take real care over who we send to whom, because the skills and the manner that suit one person can be quite wrong for another.

Support might be personal care, help with medication, meals, housework and shopping, getting out to appointments or groups, or simply reliable company at a set time each day. We agree the plan with the person and with anyone else they want involved, and we change it when their life changes rather than at a fixed date on a form.

Covering a wide area of countryside as well as towns, we plan rounds realistically. We would rather be honest at the outset about what we can cover dependably than agree to something and then let someone down.
