Where dementia is involved we take our lead from the family, who already know which words work and which part of the day is difficult. We try hard to send the same small group of workers to each person, because being recognised at the door is worth more than any written procedure. We will also say honestly when what is needed has grown past what can be delivered safely at home. We have not yet had a full inspection by the Care Quality Commission, so there is no rating to offer you. Ring us and we will come out and talk it through.
