About Assured Social Care

We are Assured Social Care, working across the Hope Valley and supporting people in their own homes throughout this part of Derbyshire. We work with older people and people living with dementia, people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who need support to live at home. Providing care in the Peak District means taking distance and weather seriously. We plan rounds realistically rather than promising a schedule that collapses the first time the roads are bad, and we would rather decline a package than take one on and deliver it badly. For people living in the more isolated spots, our carer may be the only person they see that day, and the time it takes to sit and talk is part of the job rather than an extra. Support ranges from a short morning call to several visits covering personal care, medication, meals and help around the house. Wherever somebody can still do something for themselves, we support them to carry on rather than taking it over. We keep the same carers visiting the same people as far as the rota allows, and our staff are trained and supervised properly. We work alongside district nurses, GPs and social workers. Our most recent CQC overall rating is good. Please get in touch to talk about what would help.
