About Us

Loyal Blue Care provides care and support in people's own homes in Ellesmere Port and the surrounding parts of Cheshire. We visit older people, adults living with dementia and younger adults who need help to manage daily life. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. We think good home care starts with listening properly. Before anything is agreed we sit down with the person, and with family if they want them there, and work out what would genuinely make a difference. Sometimes that is one call each morning so the day starts well. Sometimes it is several visits covering personal care, medication, meals and company. Occasionally the honest answer is that home care is not the right solution, and we will say so. Supporting someone living with dementia depends above all on consistency, so we keep the rota as steady as we can and make sure our carers know the person's history, preferences and the things that reassure them. Small changes in appetite, mood or steadiness often matter, and we expect carers to notice and report them rather than wait for a crisis. Our staff are trained before working unsupervised and supported by senior colleagues who visit, supervise and review. Families are kept informed and we welcome being told when something is not right.
