About Us
We are The Maltings, a home care agency supporting adults in their own homes in Nantwich and across Cheshire East. We work with older people and with younger adults, including those living with dementia, those managing mental health conditions and those with physical disabilities.
Our starting position is that people should be helped to keep hold of their own lives. A care plan that lists tasks is easy to write and rarely helps much on its own, so we spend time at the beginning understanding what somebody's day is like, what they can still manage, what has become difficult and what they would most like to get back. The plan follows from that conversation and is revisited when things change.
Support can be as light as a single call to help with washing and medication, or as involved as several visits a day covering personal care, meals, mobility and company. We also work alongside family carers who are doing most of the caring themselves and need reliable cover in order to rest.
