About CareYourWay

We are CareYourWay Macclesfield, a home care agency supporting adults in their own homes across the town and the surrounding part of Cheshire. We support older people and people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, and younger adults who need help with daily life. The work is practical: help with washing and dressing, support with medication, meals prepared properly, shopping, housework, and a hand getting out of the house. For some people that is one call a day and for others it is several. The name reflects how we try to work. People tell us how they like things done and we do them that way, rather than arriving with a system of our own. We agree the times that suit and we keep to them, because a late call is no small matter when somebody is waiting to get up or needs their tablets. Wherever the rota allows we send the same small group of workers, since a familiar face is easier to let in. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Until we have, please ask us direct questions about how we recruit, train and supervise our staff, and who you can reach out of hours. We would rather be judged on clear answers than on claims.
