About Us

AMG Nursing and Care in Crewe supports people in their own homes across the town and the surrounding parts of Cheshire East. Our aim is straightforward, which is to give people enough help to carry on living where they want to live.

We visit older people who need a hand at the start and end of the day, and we provide longer and more involved support where needs are greater. That includes personal care, help with medication, meals, mobility and the practical business of running a home. We support people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability or autism, people managing mental health conditions, younger adults, and people whose sight or hearing has deteriorated.

Care at home only works if it is reliable, so we take punctuality and consistency seriously and try to keep the same faces visiting the same people. Carers are trained before they take on a package and supervised afterwards, and we listen when someone tells us that a particular arrangement is not working.

We also work alongside community nurses, social workers and families, because support at home tends to involve several people and it falls apart when nobody is talking to anybody else.
