About Us

At Biggs Healthcare, we provide home care support to people living in Dunstable and the surrounding areas of Central Bedfordshire. We work with a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, people living with dementia, those with learning disabilities or autism, people experiencing mental health difficulties, and individuals with physical disabilities. Our aim is straightforward: to help people live as independently and comfortably as possible in their own homes.

We understand that inviting someone into your home to provide personal support is a significant decision, and we do not take that trust lightly. Every person we support is an individual with their own preferences, routines, and ways of doing things, and we try to reflect that in the way we work. We listen carefully to the people we support and to their families, and we put that understanding at the heart of how we plan and deliver care.

We are registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission, and our most recent overall rating was "requires improvement". We want to be honest about that. We have taken the findings seriously and have been working to make meaningful changes in how we operate. Improvement is an ongoing process and not something we treat as a box ticking exercise. We are committed to getting things right for the people who rely on us.

Our team works across a range of care needs and we try to ensure that the support we offer is consistent, respectful and person centred. We know that good home care can make an enormous difference to someone's quality of life, and that is what keeps us focused on doing better every day.

If you would like to find out more about what we can offer, we would be very happy to have a conversation with you or your family.
