About Us
Renstep Health Care supports people in their own homes across Camden and the surrounding parts of London. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia and with people who have physical disabilities.
Our work happens in other people's flats and houses, which sets the terms of it. The person we visit is at home and we are there by invitation. What time the day starts, how the kitchen is arranged, what help is welcome and what would feel like interference are theirs to decide.
Support ranges from a single call that makes the morning manageable to several visits a day covering personal care, medication, meals, household tasks and getting out of the house. We try to send the same small group of carers to each person, because trust takes time to build and because familiar staff are the ones who notice a change early enough for it to matter.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and have not yet been given an overall rating. We would rather say so openly and answer questions about how we recruit, train and supervise our carers.
