About Us
We are Gospel Oak Court, a home care agency working across Camden and the surrounding parts of London. Our work happens in people's own homes, which is where most people would rather be, and our job is to make staying there possible for as long as it sensibly can be.
We support older people and adults living with dementia, with mental health conditions, with physical disabilities and with sight or hearing loss. What that looks like in practice varies enormously. For one person it may be a morning call to help with washing, dressing and breakfast. For another it may be several visits a day, help with medication, support to get to appointments, or simply someone reliable who checks in and shares a conversation. We build the visits around the person rather than asking the person to fit around us.
Consistency matters a great deal in this work. Letting yourself into someone's home is a position of trust, so we try hard to send the same familiar faces, to arrive when we said we would, and to tell people promptly if something has to change.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, which we are pleased about, though we treat it as a floor rather than a ceiling.
