About Domiciliary Support Team
We support adults in their own homes across Manchester and Bury. Most of our work is with adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, younger adults and people living with mental health needs, helping them to run their own households and their own lives with the right support alongside. That support looks different for everyone. It might be practical help with cooking, shopping, laundry, bills and appointments. It might be someone reliable to be there while a person does something they would find daunting alone. Often it is about keeping a routine steady so that the harder weeks are easier to get through. We try to work at the pace the person sets, and to step back as soon as stepping back is the right thing to do. We should be straightforward about our inspection history. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We are not going to talk our way around that. We know what was found, we are working through it, and we would much rather you asked us directly what has changed since than discovered later that we had been vague about it. If you are considering support at home in this area, please get in touch. We will give you an honest account of where we are and what we can offer, and you can make your own judgement.
