About Us

We provide care at home in Slough and the surrounding area, supporting older people, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities, autistic people, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairments and people whose difficulties involve alcohol or drugs.

That is a wide range of need, and it only works if we ask before we plan. For an older person, help often centres on personal care, medication, meals and keeping the house manageable. Where somebody is living with dementia, a familiar and unhurried carer does more good than anything written down. For a person dealing with substance use, the practical help often matters less than having staff who are steady, do not moralise and keep turning up when they said they would.

Continuity is therefore the heart of this work rather than a detail of it. We try to send the same carers to the same households, because trust is slow to build and quickly undone, and a carer who knows somebody notices early when things are slipping.

Our staff are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and have senior colleagues they can reach when a situation is unclear. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall.
