About Willow Support

We work with older people needing help with personal care, medication and everyday tasks, with people living with dementia, with adults who have a learning disability and with autistic adults, with people who have a physical disability and with younger adults. Those are genuinely different kinds of work. An older person who wants a hand getting up and then wants to be left in peace needs something quite unlike the support an autistic adult might need to keep a week on track, and we plan accordingly rather than sending out one standard visit. Every package starts with a proper conversation with the person and whoever they want present. We ask what they still want to do themselves, what makes a day difficult, what time things really need to happen and who should be contacted when something changes. We keep the same carers going to the same people wherever the rota allows, because in home care reliability is the foundation everything else sits on. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Until we have one, we would encourage people to ask us direct questions and to speak to those we already support.
