About Us
Surecare Wycombe and Chiltern supports people in their own homes across High Wycombe and the surrounding part of Buckinghamshire. Our work is with people living with dementia, people with a learning disability, autistic people, people managing a mental health condition, people with a physical disability, and people who are blind, partially sighted, deaf or hard of hearing. Often somebody has more than one of those at once, and it is usually the combination rather than any single thing that makes managing alone stop being possible. Because of that range we think properly about communication rather than assuming it will sort itself out. If writing things down works better than speaking, we write them down. If a new face at the door is genuinely distressing, we build the rota so it does not happen. If the bell cannot be heard, we agree in advance how we will announce ourselves.
