About Us

We provide supported living and care at home to people in Gerrards Cross and the surrounding part of Buckinghamshire. We work with older people and with younger adults, including adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults and people with physical disabilities.

Where we support somebody in their own home or tenancy, that home belongs to them and not to us, and it changes the whole temper of the work. We are there because the person wants us there, doing what they have asked for in the way they have asked for it. We do not run a household, we help somebody run their own, and a good year is one where a person is doing things themselves that they could not do before.

Support covers the ordinary business of a life: cooking, shopping, money and bills, appointments, travel, work or college, keeping in touch with people, and personal care and medication where that is needed. Where somebody has a physical disability a good deal depends on equipment, layout and exact timing.

Communication comes before everything else, and we record what we learn so the whole team responds alike.
