About Us
Lamora Healthcare provides care at home for people in Aylesbury and the surrounding parts of Buckinghamshire. We keep what we offer straightforward: reliable, respectful help in the place where somebody already lives, for as much or as little of the day as they need.
Most of our work is with older people. We help with washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, meals and drinks, laundry, shopping and keeping the home comfortable. We also help people get out of the house, whether that is to an appointment, to the shops or simply for some air and a change of scene, and we make time for the conversation that goes with it rather than treating a visit as a list to be got through.
We support adults with mental health needs, where the most useful thing we do is turn up reliably, without judgement, and stay long enough to be of real use. We also support younger adults, arranging visits around work, study and family life rather than around our own rota.
Keeping the same care workers going to the same households matters to us, because familiarity means somebody notices when things are not quite right.
