About Us
We are a home care agency working in Aylesbury and the surrounding parts of Buckinghamshire. Our carers support people in their own homes, and a large part of our work is with people who have physical disabilities and with people who have a visual or hearing impairment.
Support at home for somebody with a physical disability is rarely just about tasks. It is about how a house is used, what order things happen in, which pieces of equipment help and which get in the way, and how somebody keeps control of their own routine when they need another pair of hands to carry it out. We take the time to learn that from the person rather than assume it.
Where somebody has a visual or hearing impairment, how we communicate matters as much as what we do. We adapt to what works for each individual, we keep things where they are meant to be, and we make sure information reaches people in a form they can actually use.
Plans are agreed with the person receiving care, and we revisit them as circumstances change. We aim to keep the same carers visiting so that people are not repeatedly explaining themselves to somebody new.
