About Us

B and S Healthcare is a home care agency in Bristol, supporting people in their own homes across the city. We work with older people, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental ill health, people with a physical disability, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. We also support people living with eating disorders and people affected by alcohol or drug misuse.

We take on a wide range of need on purpose. Needs rarely arrive neatly separated, and being able to carry on supporting someone as their situation changes matters more than fitting them to a category.

Day to day our visits cover personal care, medication support, meals, help around the house and getting out and about. Alongside that runs the less obvious part of the job, which is noticing. Someone eating less, a skin area that needs attention, a person becoming withdrawn. A carer who visits regularly sees all of that long before any review would.

Where we support people with eating disorders or with alcohol and drug misuse, we work without judgement and without lecturing. Reliability and being treated as a capable adult do far more good than advice nobody asked for.

Keeping the same carers with the same people is what makes all of this possible, and we plan rotas accordingly.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk through support in Bristol.
