About Edenom Care
Edenom Care provides care and support at home across Bradford. We work with older people, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. Care at home is done on somebody else's territory, to their standards rather than ours, and we think that is a privilege. Skills can be taught; turning up reliably, being decent company and treating somebody's home with respect are harder to instil, so we recruit with that in mind. Support can be a short morning call to help somebody wash, dress and get going safely, or several visits a day covering personal care, medication, meals, mobility, shopping and a check in the evening. Before anything starts we spend proper time working out what would genuinely help and what a person would rather manage themselves. Where somebody has a physical disability we take trouble to learn how their equipment is used and how they prefer to be helped to move, and we do it their way rather than ours. Where there is a sight or hearing impairment we adapt how we communicate and take care to leave the home exactly as the person expects to find it. Younger adults usually want support built around work, study and family life rather than around a rota, and we plan on that basis. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are considering support at home in Bradford, please get in touch.
