Our visits are planned around the person's own day rather than a standard package. For some people that means a call first thing to help with washing, dressing and medication. For others it is support at several points, with meals, mobility, the laundry and the house, or help to get out to appointments, the shops and the people who matter. Where a person is in recovery from an eating disorder, mealtimes are handled calmly and according to the plan agreed with them and the professionals involved rather than improvised on the day. We visit before support begins, agree the plan with the person and anyone they want involved, write it plainly and review it as needs change. We say honestly when more support is needed than we can safely provide at home. Sending the same carers to the same households is something we work at, because familiar carers notice the small changes and can raise them early. The Care Quality Commission has not yet published an overall rating for us. We are registered with them and work to their standards. Please get in touch to arrange a visit.
