About Us
We are Blossom Home Care covering Barnet and West Hampstead, supporting people in their own homes across the area.
We work with older people and people living with dementia, people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who need support to manage at home.
Our visits are built to be unhurried. A great deal of what makes home care worth having happens around the practical task rather than in it, in the conversation while the kettle boils or on the walk to the shops, and that does not fit into a rushed quarter of an hour. We would rather do fewer things properly than work through a checklist at speed.
We give real thought to which carer visits which household and then keep those arrangements steady, so that a genuine relationship has the chance to build. It makes for better care, and it is what allows somebody to accept help with the more personal things without feeling diminished by it.
Every arrangement starts with a proper conversation at home, with family involved if the person wants that. We write the plan together and revisit it as circumstances change. Our carers are trained and supervised properly.
