About Us
Dunraven House and Lodge is a residential care home in Salisbury, Wiltshire. We support a wide range of adults, which is worth stating plainly because it means the people living here are not all at the same point in life. We care for older people, including many living with dementia, and for younger adults, people with a physical disability, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and people recovering from difficulties with alcohol or drugs. What holds that together is a way of working rather than a single specialism. We learn how each person wants their day to run, what they can still do themselves, where they genuinely want help and how they tell us when something is wrong. Respite stays are part of what we offer and we plan them with the same care as a permanent move. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather set that out here than have someone come across it later. There is an agreed plan for the areas that were identified and we are working through it. Anyone considering us should ask us directly what has changed, what has not, and how we are being held to it.
