About Pinetrees
Pinetrees is a care home in Northampton supporting a wide range of adults. We provide residential care for older people and for people living with dementia, and we also support adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental ill health, people with a physical disability, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. Some of the people we support are recovering from problems with alcohol or drugs. Respite stays are available too. Supporting such a mixed group means we cannot run the home to a single template, and we do not try. What we aim for instead is a place where people are taken as they come and where support is built around the individual. Some residents need a very structured day. Others need the opposite, a lot of freedom and somewhere stable to return to. We work out which is which by asking and by paying attention. We take recovery seriously and without judgement. People who have struggled with alcohol or drugs often arrive expecting to be treated as a problem, and that is not how we approach it. The same goes for people with a long history of mental ill health. Practically, we help with personal care, medication, meals, appointments and the business of ordinary life, while backing people to keep hold of whatever independence they have. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If Pinetrees might suit someone you are supporting, come and visit and ask us anything.
