About Us
Here at Abington Park View Care Home in Northampton, we provide residential and dementia care for older people, as well as support for those living with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for those who need a short term stay, whether that is to recover after a hospital admission or to give a family carer some time to rest.
We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that lightly. Our team works hard to get to know each resident as an individual, understanding their routines, preferences and life history so that the support we provide genuinely fits around them rather than the other way around.
Our home sits in Northampton, within reach of Abington Park itself, which gives residents and their visitors a familiar, local setting. We welcome families to be involved in day to day life here, and we encourage open conversations about care so that everyone feels informed and part of the process.
We want to be straightforward with anyone considering our home. Our most recent CQC inspection resulted in an overall rating of requires improvement, and we have taken that seriously. We have been working through the feedback carefully, making changes to how we operate and monitoring progress on an ongoing basis. We would rather be honest about where we are than paint a picture that does not reflect reality. Anyone who visits us is welcome to ask questions about what we are doing differently and how things are progressing.
If you would like to come and look around, speak to our team or find out whether we might be the right fit for your loved one, please do get in touch. We are always happy to talk things through.
