About Us
Brackley Fields Country House Retirement Home sits just outside Brackley in Northamptonshire. We offer a permanent home to older people and to some younger adults, and we also provide respite stays for those needing care for a short period or whose family carer needs a break. Most of our residents need help with personal care, moving about safely, medication and meals, and reassurance that somebody is nearby at night. Many are living with dementia, and that shapes how the whole house runs: a recognisable daily pattern, the same familiar staff, people's own belongings left where they put them, and time given to somebody who is anxious rather than argument. We should be honest with you about where we stand. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather set that out plainly than have you find it elsewhere. We know what the inspectors raised with us, we are working through it, and we will talk openly about any of it with families and professionals who ask. What we have to offer alongside that is a genuinely pleasant setting, food cooked on the premises, grounds that get used when the weather allows, and visitors welcome without appointment. Please come and see us and ask the difficult questions.
