About Us

Evesham Place, part of Radis Community Care, is a residential care home at Stratford upon Avon, and we support adults with learning disabilities and autistic people. Respite stays are available too, giving families a planned break in the knowledge that the person they care for is somewhere settled.

We are a household rather than a facility. People here have their own rooms and their own belongings, and a real say over how the day goes. The staff team is kept deliberately consistent, because support from people who know you well is a different thing altogether from support from whoever is on shift. Changes are explained in advance, the shape of the week holds, and we take sensory comfort seriously, since noise, light and busyness often decide whether a day goes smoothly.

Support covers personal care, medication, meals, money and the practical business of running a home, and wherever we can we do things alongside people rather than for them. A skill used is a skill kept, and we are patient about that.

We are equally interested in what happens beyond the house. College, work or voluntary work, hobbies, friendships and family visits all matter, and helping people hold on to them is part of the job rather than an extra.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Families and professionals are welcome to visit and ask us whatever they need to know.
