About Us
Long Lea Residential Home is in Nuneaton and we provide residential care for adults with a wide range of needs. Most of the people who live here are older, some are younger adults, and between them they bring dementia, mental health conditions, physical disability and sensory impairment through the door. We are used to all of it.
What holds that together is attention to the individual. We find out how somebody likes to be woken, what they eat, what they will not eat, whether they want company or quiet, and who they want us to ring when something happens. That information is not a formality for us, it is how the care actually gets delivered.
For people living with dementia we keep the day predictable and the faces familiar. For residents whose sight or hearing is impaired we keep belongings where they expect them and take care over how we approach and speak. For people with a physical disability we take the time that moving safely and comfortably requires.
Respite stays are available, whether for a planned break for a family carer or for a period of recovery after illness.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Families across Warwickshire are welcome to come and see the home, meet the team and ask us whatever they want to know.
